Hello,

I'm in a major that has a demanding amount of mandatory courses to graduate from the honours, which means I have no space to take some of the prerequisites during a full time semester.

Can I take prerequisites for veterinary school in the summer?

Yes. You can take them whenever.

The only case where this wouldn’t work is if you were talking about the summer before you started at some vet schools.

For example, let’s say you applied next cycle and got accepted, pending finishing any required courses. Some schools require that all the remaining prerequisites be finished by the spring semester before you begin and don’t allow you to still be finishing prerequisites in the summer.

If you're talking about the summer before you enroll in vet school ^^ what @love2hunt said is right, and you should check on a school to school basis. Some schools require you to take things by early June, and for my case my school of choice didn't offer that course before June.
