So I am a community college transfer entering a top UC school (non bio major) and have taken my gen bio, math, and half of gen chem requirements at cc and now have to finish chem/ochem/biochem as well as physics. I got my 2 year plan for my major (public health) and in order to finish physics and chem series+major classes in time to graduate I would have to basically take ~20 units a quarter+ both summer sessions. This sounds very unsustainable to me because I want to do ec’s, research, etc and obviously do well in my classes. I also have never been on the quarter system before. I am definitely taking a gap year, and was considering taking physics during my gap year at a cc after I graduate. I’m just worried because I’m already a cc transfer student and I would be again going back to cc after graduation....would this look really bad?
