Do most schools require that your prerequisites be taken within the past 3 years or it doesn't count towards your dental school application?

Do most schools require that your prerequisites be taken within the past 3 years or it doesn't count towards your dental school application?

5 years seems to be the number I see, but when I actually email admissions of the schools I'm interested in, the majority say they do not have a time limit on prereqs. So, just email the schools.
