I know that med schools don't like you to take rigorous weed out courses at a community college, but I don't think psychology counts as a "rigorous weed out course." I am currently at a 4 year university, and it would cost 3x the tuition to take psych here than at my community college back home. Is this okay?

it wont be a problem, sometimes you learn more in CC owing to a small class size

The consensus is that if you do well throughout your college career and on the MCAT, you'll do fine regardless of some CC credits. I would avoid taking upper level prereqs however. I took psych and sociology at a CC and they were insanely easy...think I missed 3-4 points the entire semester. Its an intro class, so I'm not really sure how hard it would be at the university level always. Pay attention so you can recall this stuff easier when it comes up on the MCAT =)
