Taking step 1 as DO, even if it's a low score

I'm a below average student and a current 3rd year on rotations that took comlex level 1 (515). I could not score well on my practice NBMEs during dedicated got in the 200s and couldn't improve so I decided against taking step 1. My question is, should I be able to match into psych with my comlex only? I can spend the next few months trying to study for step 1 again during my rotations, but it seems very difficult given that I didn't even get the score I wanted during dedicated. I can expend a lot of energy and be miserable into studying for step 1 again, but there's not even a guarantee I'll score decent (>215). Some advice would greatly be appreciated on what I should do
