Hey guys! I'm an English major looking into taking English, intro to psych, and intro to stats at my local CC. I have no problem taking them at my current university, except that it would be significantly cheaper to take them at the CC (at least less than half the cost). Would medical schools be understanding of that or no?

You should be fine. I spent two years at my CC due to financial reasons (and also poor academics from high school). Attending CC didn't come up at all in my interviews.

I wouldn't recommend taking upper-level science courses at CC if it's offered, though. You should definitely take these courses at your four-year institution.

Agree with @gonnif that those classes are OK to take at CC. I wouldn't take any prereqs at CC, at least to me it'd look like you're trying to get the easy As.

I was not a pre med undergraduate but orgo was required in my double major. I took it at a local four year school to make sure I graduated on time. Also it was cheaper , and I wanted to spend one last summer at home. It never came up durng the course of the application process.
