Hi Everyone! I will be filing my own taxes this year as a medical student and need some input on what you guys would do. I have a joint account as a primary account holder with my partner (not married). I do receive financial aid as well. Would you guys use a tax accountant or TurboTax as I get very confused with finances. Thank you!

I switched from TurboTax to CreditKarma for taxes a couple of years ago. Better than TurboTax imo.

i do not know anything about filing with CreditKarma, but TurboTax is amazing. Have been using them since.... 2010 i want to say? or 2012? i like that they walk you through everything, program is easy to use, and you can choose a different package, depending how complicated your case is. If you have unusual sources of income, or weird situations, you can even have their accountant take a look, and videochat with you.
