I know that the DAT does test on these but I'm curious as to how in depth.

For plants would it just be the basic alternative of generations thing and then basic terms?

For hormones would it be reproductive ones or also ones in your stomach?

For taxonomy do they just list a animal and you have to place it in the correct group or do they ask questions such as do starfish have radial or lateral symmetry?

Im trying to study as efficient as possible so any help would be great. Im assuming these are the problems on the test that end up getting people tripped up.

I think the consensus is bio is pretty random but from recent breakdowns it seems like there haven't been a lot of plant questions so just knowing the basics should be good. But for hormones you should know a lot more than just the sex hormones. I suggest memorizing all of the hormones on page 202 of cliffs.

I can't say about plants, but all the hormones in Cliff's are definitely fair game (including the stomach ones, there's only 4-5 anyway). Know where they are secreted/stored and what they do.
I've also seen a bunch of questions regarding taxonomy in the Destroyer and Bootcamp. Know all of the stuff in Cliff's about Kingdom Animalia. It seems overwhelming at first but once you start answering questions about them, they get repetitive and you get the hang of it. I would also know the basics of the other kingdoms too.

Also, dqv has some really good charts on taxonomy. If you know those well, you should be fine for nearly any taxonomy question that may come ur way

I had nothing on plants or hormones but 2 taxonomy questions but that literally means nothing as every test is very different.

is the chart for free or do we have to pay the full version to see it?
