According to the problem cloud seeding (turning pockets of water moisture in air into ice) is which kind of phase change?

A)Vaporization
B) Melting
C) Fusion
D) Sublimation

Shouldn't the answer be freezing? According to the book the answer is Fusion. Isn't fusion the same thing as melting??

It cant be B or C since they are the same thing yeah your right.

You can always narrow it down to the right answer.

Vaporization -> liquid to gas
Melting -> solid to liquid
Sublimation -> also solid to liquid...i think
Fusion --> I don't know but it's the last one

Water moisture = vapor

So vapor (gas) --> solid would be deposition.. 😵?

Sublimation is solid to gas

It's for sure a mistake.

Fusion = Melting
