I just started studying TBR's Bio. On one section I scored 75/100, which according to their grading scale is a 9. When I did TBR's Chem and OChem, a 75/100 was an 11. I don't think that TBR's Bio is that much easier than TBR's Chem and OChem. The authors are different, which may account for the different grading scale. I've heard on this forum that TBR's questions are harder than the MCAT but the grading scale is more lenient.
Did anyone else notice this discrepancy in the grading scale, or find any of the TBR books harder than the others? For those who have taken the MCAT after studying TBR, which books are most accurate in terms of MCAT difficulty or predicting scores?
(I haven't taken the AAMC free MCAT yet, because I haven't taken these classes for years and really need tor review before attempting it.)
Thanks!
