Does anyone have any experience with the TBR Verbal book? How does it compare to EK 101? Should one use both, or one of the two?

Get the TPRH verbal book. And search the forums. You'll notice no one recommends TBR verbal.

Everything that I learned in TBR could be applied to EK but, for me, it's pretty simple: stop consciously analyzing the passage and trust my instinctive response to the thoroughly understood prompts. YMMV. I haven't got much experience with TPRH Verbal so I can't comment there.

TPRH Verbal is the closest to AAMC verbal. EK 101 is a little different from the real thing but still very good critical thinking practice. TBR verbal is nothing like the real thing.

The best practice verbal passages by far is the AAMC verbal self assessment.
