I was in the second mailing 7/16 and received app complete update from them (through aadsas) on 8/25.. nothing since..my status in aadsas says under review...has anyone heard from them recently??

Thank you. It's probably because I'm Canadian, but I'm trying to keep my hopes up.

Did anyone not get interviews after sending in the supplementals?

I remember getting a form that I had to fill (didn't really seem like a secondary, just basic information and a fee) and send in. I received the rejection after that.

I think the secondary application is something that's sent to either all applicants or all applicants who meet some sort of cut off. I'm fairly confident that several international students will receive interviews and acceptances. My application must have had something on it that they didn't like.

I just had an interview at temple this last week. We were the first batch to interview, so I think that there will be lots more to come.I wouldn't fret if you hadn't heard anything yet. The admissions people we worked with were very friendly and nice. It was a great trip. If you have some real questions you need answered, I am sure you could call and just ask them.

Im curious, did you actually have a 1-on-1 interview at temple? I have an interview there next week and when I look at the daily schedule, there is no time slot for an interview, just a 2 essays and 1 video clip

being international has nothing to do with the rejection. Temple is a full private school and they couldn't care less where you come from, so long as you have money.

Temple is actually a "Commonwealth" university, which is sorta public. It started out private, but sometime ago started to take substantial funds from the PA gov. Also, PA residents get a reduction on their tuition. Even so I am pretty sure that they didn't reject you based on being Canadian.

I would call them up and inquire why they rejected you after a secondary, and fee. It sounds like you just donated to Temple dental school.

I just had an interview at NYU last week. You have your actual interview as soon as you get there so you can relax the rest of your visit, which is very nice. The supplemental application is nothing really, just name, address, stuff like that. It has a spot where you can put 4 schools you applied to and that's about it.
