I wonder if anyone got Temple interview? This is my state school, and still waiting. Any ideal which day of the week (mon, tue, etc..) they often offer for interview date. I need a spot to reserve for Temple. 😴

When I called earlier this week they said they wouldn't hand out interview invites until October.

yes, i also called recently, and october i the most likely time frame. i guess the committee met late this year.

temple does not favor in state applicants. it is not a state school, and they dont give preference to PA residents. so it doesnt matter that u are out of state.
ur stats are good, u will probably hear from them soon.

Weird.They say they do cream of the crop as the cycle goes on. So first batch and good stats should be good to go.

I would say its a hybrid. they dont give much preference to in state, but there is about a 10k difference between instate and OOS tuition( I believe OOS = 54K for the year, instate is about 44k).

Apparently the acceptance rate is about 80% for out of state students who get interviews for temple (didn't bother calculating for instate). Good news for anybody with interview.

I chose temple over a few other private schools in the area.

1) the environment, students seemed happier than the other d-schools, and friendlier.

2) Cost, temple relative to other private schools in the area is cheaper. also, the living costs are also lower in philly.

3) clinical reputation

as of now, I am very happy of the decision I made, Temple has been great.
