Hey everyone:
Just received an interview invitation from Temple.
I scheduled mine for Oct 28th.
Is anyone else going to be there on this date?
Please feel free to post information about hotels, transportation, etc.

Does anyone know if any of the hotels provide a shuttle service to/from the school?
I went to Nova and the hotel I was staying at provided complimentary shuttle service to the school, which was very nice.
I simply hate renting cars.

Ill be at Temple on the 7th of Oct. but Ill be staying at the Microtel Inn and Suites near the airport cuz ill be arriving that morning and literally using the shower and heading off to the interview, so really Im renting a really expensive shower!

I finally managed to get a job and I've been working for the most part, so that I can pay for my plane tickets and hotel costs.
How far is this place from the school?
How do you plan on going to school? Are you gonna rent a car or something?
Please give us some feedback about the area and the school, when you come back.

Temple had a secondary?!
I don't recall filling out any secondaries (or maybe I did)!
But I took my DAT on May 9th, 2009 and my AADSAS was submitted on June 1st. According to their website, my application was mailed out on 7/2/09.

Mapquest says its like 15 minutes from the school. I picked a relatively inexpensive hotel near the airport so I can shower right away and head to the school. Unfortunately Im renting a car because cab rides are too much and I couldnt find a hotel with a shuttle to the school. Ill try to remember to post my experience when I get back. From what Ive heard from relatives who live in Pennsylvania, Temple is in a rough area of Philly.

I know i heard, I kinda don't know what to make of the group interview , like pow wow style.

Basically, they sit you in a circle with a few other people and the interviewer asks a question to one or all of the group and you answer individually. Very different from your traditional interview and I also heard they like to ask you weird questions to throw you off guard.

you won't a need car at all. i was upenn last friday but stayed near temple and the place is ridiculously easy to navigate with SEPTA. it runs to the airport too. temple is located right next to the broad subway line and you can pretty get anywhere in philly for $2 one-way.

hey guys u should try taking the broad street train if u have a hotel in the city it stops in front of the school...therees no parking there, if u do get lucky and fnd a spot on the street dont park there lol u dont want it broken into , go to the garage i assume theres one with the temple hospital a block away... i from the area just sum advice !
