What do I need to take with me? Is there an "admission ticket" I should have printed out? Or do I need my AAMC number? Or just a photo ID?

Will they provide pencils and scratch paper?

Can I have my cell phone, in a backpack, left in the waiting area? Or can it be nowhere in the building? I know I can't use it during the test or breaks, but do test centers accommodate people for backpack storage, etc? Where do you keep your snacks if not in a backpack?

You should print out the confirmation page of the MCAT test registration. No need to provide AAMC number. Take with you a government issued photo-ID (Visa, passport, drivers license, etc).

Yes, they'll provide pencil.

Usually most places they provide lockers for you as they are the prometric sites (computer testing). You cannot access any reading materials or cell phone while you're in the middle of your test (break), otherwise your test will be forfeited. You can keep the snacks inside the lockers.

Bring TWO IDs just in case.

I wouldn't bring your cell phone with you, though you could store it in the locker. If they see you taking it out/with it out, depending on the people running the center, you could be done for. The last thing you want on test day is them voiding your test because you took out your cell phone.

Problem is I need it to get my ride (a taxi) after the test...I wouldn't pull it out until I have finished...I guess my question is if there is a prohibition of having one on the premises, even in a backpack in a locker...

If I enter the joint at 8 and get seated to start the test in 15 mins, and I take minimal breaks, when will I be finished? I may just have to arrange the ride that way...
