I took 7 tests and still have NOT broken a 19. My highest is an 18. (two 17's and five 18's)

for the ones I got an 18 on, I checked to see how many problems I got right.

getting 59 right versus 65 right still got me an 18 WOW.

Am I fu**** for the DAT?

edit: im referring to Crack DAT PAT.

To be honest, I was getting 21-22 on CDP and got a 19 on the real DAT. Kind of a bummer, but I heard from others taking the same test that it was pretty difficult on our test date.

On a brighter note, a lot of SDNers say that they did much better on the real DAT than on CDP, so it's arbitrary. Just keep trying!

Have you seen the video tutorials for CDP? I got like a 16 and 18 on Topscore (supposedly they are really easy) so I got worried and bought CDP. I viewed the videos and then took the first CDP and scored a 21.

For Hole Punching watch this guy's video: HE"S THE BEST

Your scores arent that bad for PAT. Keep working hard and GOOD LUCK!!!!

I never made below a 23 on CDP after the 4th test and got a 21 on the real thing. TFE and Keyholes are a little harder on real thing. rest is the same besides angles which are WAY easier

I got a 20 on the DAT PAT without using CDP software, one thing I do is mark all the ones I am unsure of and continue going along the ones your positive about then review marked ones and assure its the correct one. But practice does make perfect, if you see no change try to find a strategy to be quick at finding easy answers and ways to tackle the hard keyhole.

I think my average for all my CDP tests was a 19 and I got a 21 on the real thing. Not a lot of people probably say this, but I thought the PAT section was easier (except for angles--those were impossible!) on the real DAT than CDP.

You should be okay! Just go in there with confidence and don't second-guess yourself too much. 🙂 My five scores for Crack DAT PAT were 19, 19, 19, 20, 21... and I ended up with a 20 on the real thing. I think you need to just go through the tests and really try to understand each problem. I felt like things kind of clicked when I took the fifth test on Crack DAT PAT so just keep working on it!

Second this video. I watched it and practiced for like an hour, and didn't miss a single hole punch the last 3 CDP's and I don't think I missed one today.

For me, angles and cubes were easier on the real one. TFE was the same. Keyhole and Patterns were significantly harder.
