what makes the MCAT more difficult? that it's a grueling mental marathon, or the level of knowledge required to answer the questions? seems to me that if the test were spread out over 2-3 days, anyone could do well. thoughts?

Probably both of those and a third thing, which is the time limit is not sufficient for most people to answer at their own pace.

I don't think anyone could do well over 2-3 days. The top scorers would score higher and "well" would be redefined. Not only that, but even without the marathon issue, the material is wide ranging and difficult.

I don't think much would change, honestly. Except that the most nervous people would perform even worse on days 2 and 3 because they weren't sleeping.

Man, i bet surgeries would be easier to do if they were spread of two or three days. I could work at my own pace! 😉

Personally im glad it was only 1 day, cause i went back home after and crashed HARD.
