So I understand that we are allowed to bring certain things with us into the exam (such as tissues) and certain things we can bring with us that we can only access during breaks/lunch.
My question is about the breaks/lunch items. So if I want to bring a drink and snacks/lunch, where do these items go? Do they have a locker outside of the exam area? Is there an actual break area where you can heat food? If there is a locker, how big are they?
Also, I know that there is a 10 minute "tutorial" at the beginning and I have read accounts of people using this 10 minutes to write down all their formulas and such but I wanted to confirm if this is "legal." And how about writing during the breaks before the next section begins (for example I like to write time markers on the side of my paper so that I can keep track of how far ahead or behind I am compared to the remaining material for that section).
Lastly, can anyone confirm if at the end of the break that the timers automatically move to the next section or not? I've read several reports on reddit that they don't, but I would like to hear from recent test takers. I just want to know if a 10 minute break is really a 10 minute break (ie, grab a snack, use the restroom, walk around for a couple of minutes and clear your head) or if it is a mad scramble because 9 minutes of the 10 minute break is spent signing in and out and trying to grab a snack during a break might end up costing you time on the next section.
