I am a dentist from India and i applied to MPH fall 2012. I got accepted to Texas A&M MPH in Health policy and management, UMDNJ MPH in Dental public health(quite related to dentistry as a field) adn Emory University MPH in Health policy and management.
Now i have a few doubts and i am unable to decide which one to choose.
Firstly, UMDNJ offers me MPH in my own field and also it has a dental school where i can get some research work and can help me get into DDS program in the same university later. But its fee is almost double than Texas A&M and living expenses are going to be on the higher side.
Whereas Texas A&M has a great reputation as a university and their program and department of health policy and management is really good, living expenses and fee being almost half to UMDNJ, i wont have to work part time and i can spare time to study for my National Boards.
Emory is best out of all, gr88 ranking and reputation but Its gonna be very expensive and they do not even have a dental school where i can work or do research or observer ship. But job prospects after MPH from emory would be much better than other 2, if at all i dont get into DDS program.
