I am supposed to attend a reapplicant workshop tomorrow at Texas am. If I did not attend without informing them, would this make me look bad if I ever reapplied to this school?

I think the workshop just involves showing presentations about how to be a better applicant.

Yes, of course it would. If you are unable to attend, why not just let them know? If you are able to attend but just aren't interested, it's probably worth it to just bite the bullet and sit through the workshop. If you are uninterested and don't intend to reapply there, then you're probably safe to skip the workshop, but realize that you might be burning that bridge.

Do you really think schools care enough though to keep track of attendence?

I think every school is probably different, but OP's quote:

implies that this is a mandatory event for reapplicants, in which case there's a good chance they do keep track. Besides, why risk it? If you don't want to go, just call them and tell them you can't make it. A lot of people don't like being stood up. It isn't advisable to piss off people in the admissions office.

I highly doubt it was mandatory, but in this case OP likely RSVPed.

Probably too late to tell them now. Assuming you RSVPed, the likelihood they notice you're not there is probably relatively high. It'll be annoying to them because they probably catered food or snacks for the session. Whether or not they care, who knows.
