I read this thread alot and rarely post, which I dont know why. All this speculation with LMFUs and such is stressful! take a deep breath and relax.. the 15th is almost here!

So, any new conspiracy theories regarding LMFUs and Validation Dates?

d/dx (LMFU)^(Validation Date) * (RCW)/2
 
I'm setting the over/under at 43 for how many pages this thread will have by the time match results are posted

ah i c...so back the the lmfu...my theory requires that the lmfu changes based on groupings having to do in relation to when people applied
 
I have to ask, what is the third picture on the "The Texas Match is EVIL!" facebook group? It looks like a legal document of some sort... Did you guys meet secretly by torch-light and draw up this constitution without telling me?!

I thought it was supposed to represent a page with all our signatures, reaffirming the evilness of the TMDSAS. 😛

But you're right, it does look like an ancient legal document.

I took a wild stab it was the declaration of independence but I honestly have no idea what it is.


BTW, your dog is cutest thing ever 😍
 
Do you guys think TMDSAS will post the results at 12:00AM 2/15? 😕

I do. I was begging for weeks in the Site Support subforum and I kept bugging DoctorPardi but he would never respond to me.
 
Just joined the facebook non-sense. I'm actually new to the facebook scene and this seemed like an appropriate first group to join. haha. Damn you match day!

Our scientific survey last year found that you add together all the digits of the date, then [(LMFU + VD) * (VD^2)]/ GPA = MCAT if you matched. If it's anything else, I'm sorry, no match for you.
 
My LMFU hasn't changed yet. Does it mean that I have no chances of getting in? Just joined your group... I'm freaking out right now!!!

Damn it! I knew it! No Validation Date means no acceptance!!:scared:

Might as well tell you guys since it looks like match is fast approaching...

Last year a very studly and tuberous SDNer found a backdoor way of figuring out early if you got accepted/matched at UTSW.

Go to this URL and using your interviewee login and password, try logging into some of the applications, like the Housing Info page. The Big Sib one might not work like last year. In 2006, everyone who was able to log in ended up matching.

Of course, we need positive controls here, so those of you with pre-match acceptances, see what happens when you go to that page. Also keep in mind the admissions system is a little different this year, so things may not be as exactly as they were last cycle.
 
Yes, Trevagandalf's right. You can't divide zero by anything.

Although, if it'll get me into med school, I'm willing to break a few mathematical rules.😛 (Actually, if they let me in, I think that the adcommies will have to break a couple of their own rules....my MCAT's not too far above zero😀 )

Only folks who interviewed at UTSW (and were thus issued interviewee login names) who are no longer in consideration for the school would be negative controls. I don't know which of you would fit that category.

hah, i love this theory.

GREAT SMOKING MOSES, MY LMFU HASN'T CHANGED SINCE BEFORE I ENTERED MY MATCH PREFERENCES.....???? PREFED 122906, LMFU 122806....ANYONE WANT TO TAKE A STAB AT THAT ONE??

Prematch offer, and! here's the catch, for a while I was MD/MBA at Tech, but then released that so I could participate in the match (TMDSAS said if you are applying for MD/MBA no match for you...)

Should I call TMDSAS!? Or am I seriously flying off a wall here? Is ANYONE in the same boat?
