Do you guys agree that UTH seems to have nothing to do with all the recent LMFUs and Validations? I hope I'm right!
 
Or utsw. I hope im right too.

then again that would make sense since there are rreports that they arent participating in the match

LMFU now 2/12/07 and I my only addition to the multiple acceptances is Tech...I am also waiting on UTSA and UTSW but I am pretty sure it is Tech

When I checked Friday on TMDSAS my LMFU was 2/1/07 now its 2/12/07. I was validated on 2/7/07. I really hope this is good news...but I'm afraid to get my hopes up🙁

Anyway, I am a Texan, only applied to TMDSAS schools (except for SW)interviewed at UTSA in Sept. '06 and UTH in Jan. '07. No pre-Match offers, so no lucky 'fluke' for me. 👎 I had 2 LMFU changes, each shortly (7-10 days) after my interviews, but no Validation yet. All my school stuff was complete last July, so no RCW updates since then.

All the talk about LMFUs and Validation Dates is driving me insane, but I can't get away from it!:scared: BTW, AdamMD, LOVED THE SONG!!) 😀

Can we even trust the TMDSAS ppl?

my thoughts on the 2/12 LMFU:

Previously, LMFU seemed to have decent correlation with acceptance for prematch offers and post interview updates.

But now I don't think LMFU will mean acceptance. I think that everyone under the sun who interviewed at tamu has now been ranked and that ranked list was sent in today which updated the LMFU. So I don't think that the update necesarily means acceptance or rejection, it just means that the list has been sent in.

My LMFU changed 2/12 also. LMFU's most def. dont have to do with rank lists. B/c i interviewed at many texas schools but hadnt had an LMFU change since 12/11/06. I think this LMFU change has to do with rejections, b/c there were alot of texas schools that i havent heard back from either.
 
Oh my gosh you guys should be SOOOOOOOO glad I've been out all day away from my computer and I'm only coming back now because I'm coming away from baking wonderful Valentine's day cakes. So I'm in a good mood. 🙂

And I SWEAR I have a sense of humor. And I'm nice. Almost all of the time 🙂

And after reminding EVERYONE that Texas A&M beat the darn dirty hippies in AUSTIN 12-7 at football, AND we beat them AGAIN in basketball, I shall share some of my own jokes so that we can all have a laugh 🙂 And because I'm nice. But no cake for you Dr. House 🙂 sorry

This one must have been written by a tea-sip because number one... we have NO cheerleaders, only yell leaders. We do yells, not cheers. Also, Kyle Field has no astroturf! Its real grass... and looks mighty fine too.

How many University of Texas students does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Four, one to screw it in, one boasts about how great the light bulbs were back when Darrel Royal was there and the other two leave about halfway through.

And because other schools deserve some teasing too...

All of them: One to screw it in and the rest of the student body to try desperately to establish a rivalry with the other Big XII schools in lightbulb screwing.

How many Baylor students does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They haven't received electricity yet in Waco.

Oh and no joke... at home I went to Blockbuster at around midnight to pick a movie and I got my membership in college station and the guy asked for my id since I hadn't ever rented from my hometown Blockbuster. And then he goes oh you must be an Aggie, I'm what you would call a tea-sip. I actually graduated last May. (not to offend any blockbuster employees....I just usually assume college grads do a bit more than the night shift... though that is not to offend anyone who works the night shift. I can dig it)

Albert Einstein goes to a party. He introduces himself to a lady and says, "Hi, I'm Albert Einstein. What's you're IQ?".........."240," she says. "Great, we can discuss the mysteries of the universe and other things. We have a lot we can talk about " he replies. Later he is talking with a man and says, "Hi, I'm Albert Einstein. What's you're IQ?"......."145," he replies. "Great, we can talk about thermodynamics," says Albert. Later he is talking to another gentleman and says, "Hi, I'm Albert Einstein. What's you're IQ?........"43," the man manages to say. Einstein gets a puzzled look on his face for a minute then says, "How about them Longhorns?"

Well the yelling is either a yell (somewhat like a cheer) or they're yelling a response to their commanding officer type guy. The corps is military style ROTC program, I don't know enough about why they yell things like they do

And the reason they are standing like that is because they are surrounding Reveille (the first lady of A&M) to exit the stadium in a protective formation. They pack tightly so that no one can get between them and take her/hurt her/ whatever. You know protecting our mascot (but she is NOT a mascot, she's the first lady!) Kinda like when Bevo has to come under armed guard to get his/her (its a steer does it even have a gender) shots at the A&M vet school.

Oh and I'm sure its because its some form of hazing for the fish. Fish are freshman, specifically in the corps.

I was kind of referring to that ball gripping action, not the formation. Those poor fish's cajones...better ice up.

When I am passionate, I think without me actually in person saying what I have to say... I can come off a little harsh. Read back a bit for my "smack down" (I mean that in total good humor) about a correlation of the Aggies to something not very nice.

And when I did defend my point there, I hope I didn't sound too mean. It really was just to get the point across. Plus I figured it was better to do what I could do try to get people to not use gay-directed words as insults. (you know, you don't like something and you gosh "gosh that is so gay!" gay isn't an insult. So why would you use it that way?)

But lets go back to being happy/stressed. Love is in the air! 😍 😍 😍 It's almost Valentine's day! And for the other half of you that just cringed... LOVE STINKS!!!!! yeah yeah!!!!

What are you talking about? We got the electricity over here last year as a Christmas present!! We take turns using the lightbulb at the library when it's night and we have late study sessions. 😉

So, the real answer for that question is:

10 Baylor students are required. 1 to screw in the light bulb, and the other 9 to pray for the lightbulb's well-functioning and safety.

Well, I think that refers back to the age old question... why does ANY man touch his balls. The real answer we may never know, but in this case... I'm really not sure but I have heard that they grab 'em so that they feel the same pain the players feel on the field when they are smashing into people and the like. Its just one of those silly corps rumors that floats around the school. But that's what I've heard. (serious answer for the day..... check!)
