Congratulations to everyone with a TCOM acceptance😀 😀 !!! That's one in the bag, I hope there are more for you all.

Spurrrs I hope you're right about A&M since I have 100406 as well, that'd make me really happy after kicking myself for not applying to TCOM.
 
my southwestern status "interviewed" by the way, can they tell how many times I check that page? If they can there is no way I'm getting in. In fact, they probably have a restraining order out on me.
 
I still have interviewed for UTSW.

I hope that's not bad.

It seems that TCOM accepted quite a few people. I hope the other Texas schools will do the same.

Please post acceptances on the official thread in the Pre-Med Forum. I like the fact that I can read conversation and questions here without sifting and scrolling through a list of acceptances. Just my preference, however. 🙂 Oh, and congrats!!

Not really. I absolutely loved it when I was there.
 
It'll make it easier to "discuss" here without having to scroll through dozens of acceptances - and since the official acceptance thread is SO long and doesn't like the DO schools - we can have our own TMDSAS thread. Please add your name and school as it goes....it should be a busy thread in the next few days.

It sure would be nice if they send us an email, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Congrats to all, esp. my fellow reapplicants and August MCATers. I remember logging on here in Feb. for Match Day and being so sad after not matching and seeing everyone else get in. This is so great!

No, sorry... "I'm going there" was meant in the future tense... as in next fall. Not there right now. TCOM vs. UTHSCSA is a very, very tough choice indeed though. They are both such awesome schools each in their own way, imo. Grats to everyone who got into TCOM and is going there. I'm still not 100% decided myself, but SA is a better choice, geographically and financially for me.

Agreed, I was very impressed with SA. It seems like the area around the school is a nice place to live.

With all of the TCOM acceptances, are we still saying that the LMFU has nothing to do with acceptances for rolling admissions?

What LMFU do you have if you are accepted bt TCOM?
This might not work for people that have (or are about to get) multiple acceptances....

I don't think it correlated very well.
 
I think that with the new rolling admissions, there is a chance that LMFU does mean that schools are updating our status in some way. In the past years, it was always decided that LMFU means absolutely nothing. I'm not so sure about that for this year. There must be some sort of way for TMDSAS to keep up with our early offers and if so, the obvious way to do it would be to update our file -- making the LMFU date change.


Any changes to the Tech status website?? Mine says absolutely nothing under "action.'
