Are we all agreeing that Tech and UTSA will send out acceptances by snail mail?
 
How do we accept our acceptance? Do we just email them or call the admissions office?

They will send you that info in the mail. I know that you don't have to make the final choice between your early offers until 12-31-07 (maybe 12-15-07, I forget)

I bet they're gonna do another wave of invites after acceptances/rejections from the first wave of offers comes in (i.e. Dec. 2ish). Hopefully they'll send us a letter clarifying what we have to do.
 
The UTSW website will no longer let me log-in........probably exceeded their 1000 times a week limit.
 
guys I called them...they said that the status page wont show acceptances...only via snail mail...but keep trying and let me know if for some reason it tells u

yup you have to tell them you want to hold the acceptance by dec1, but by dec31 you have to decide the only one you want to hold on to.

Whew!! I'm so glad you guys posted that you couldn't log in. My heart sank when it stopped accepting my log in on the UTSW web site. I was bummed to not even be wait listed (OOS'er).
 
In case anybody cares -- there's definitely a correllation between later LFMUs and acceptances. Everybody who reported a 11/10 LFMU has been accepted somewhere (several of them to multiple places.) Thats 8-of-8... the rest of us are 7-of-28. The earliest LFMU to get an admission is FrogDoc07, with 14 Sep, to UT-H.

There isn't yet a clear 1-school source for the 11/10 LFMU, although UTMB and UTSA are both possible (please don't let it be UTSA!) -- UTMB admissions are still rolling in according to aggiejohn, and UTSA ones of course haven't arrived. Sadly (for me) this would fit pretty well with the news that UTSA updated TMDSAS last week.

There isn't yet a clear advantage to the 10/4 LFMU (they're 2-of-6), although Texas Tech is still possible, not having admitted anybody yet.

Great, where does that leave me, with my 10/16/06 LMFU? When you're done, could I borrow your fusion reactor, Pemberley?

Where did that person that said UTSA just sent their acceptance list to TMDSAS get his information. And is that SOME acceptances or ALL of their acceptances.

Also, 100406 does not seem to be for TAMU. It could be for UTSA if the above statement is not true. Only time will tell, but there are some people with pretty impressive stats in the 100406 group. Sadly I am not one of those, but I think I am ok.

I got two acceptances (UTH and UTMB) with a LMFU of 10/30. In my opinion, it would only be a bad thing if your LMFU did not change after your interview date...Also, I just checked it and it is still 10/30.

Well, I figured if I were going to obsess (and I've stopped pretending otherwise :laugh: ) I might as well do it productively.

Feel free to add your info... I would hope that you didn't interview at San Antonio, but I sat next to you there. Oh, well. No more one-school theories left for 10/4, and only SA left for 11/10 (please don't let it be SA!)

hmmm thus implicating UTSA hmmm well my LMFU = 111006 and my stats = 3.78gpa 31MCAT well good luck you guys

I think the above format is a genuis way of keeping track of acceptances. It's easier to follow. I vote to keep adding to this one and adding names as needed.

If there's any mercy in their hearts they will have used express mail. But they're on adcomms. Mercy is incompatible with the job description. :laugh:
