Spending a gap year at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Should I apply this cycle or do an SMP when I get back (considering TCOM's program)

Apply to all the Texas schools and you should receive several interviews with your stats. I am assuming you have significant shadowing and clinical volunteering time.
