Hey applicants,
I hope you are working hard on those applications and are getting those letters of recommendations and secondaries in by now. I just wanted to give you guys a warning that Texas schools are going to start interviews in about a month, so get those applications in and call to make sure they are complete!
UT Southwestern is already starting to put together a list of names for the first of the primary interviews which will occur probably around September 8th or near the end of September. Do not panic if you are not contacted, there are plenty of interview dates later on. If you think your application is complete, sometime soon would be a good time to check. Be nice to the people on the phone... email is highly recommended. (hint: UTSW has no secondary app... just send them your LORs)
I was a bit suprised that interviews started this early last year... so just a warning 🙂. Good luck!
