I'm currently investigating Texas schools and was wondering if anyone has any insight into any of these? What are the campuses like? If attending, do you like the program? If you applied to several Texas schools, which ones did you get into?

Don't attend any of those but have visited TWU and UTSW. TWU has a beautiful and new campus. They have a great program and are well regarded overall. UTSW was in an older building, but they are able to take gross anatomy with med students (not sure if this is good or not..). I liked the TWU professors better, but that's just from my casual conversations.

You can't go wrong with either 3 really.

I go to TWU and love that we don't have to share our cadavers with any other program. At some schools, medical students do the dissecting while PT students just watch or study afterward. I felt the experience of doing all the dissection really deepened my anatomy education during first semester. Also, the campus in Dallas is amazing. It's a brand new and very clean building with tons of perks, including unlimited free printing & scanning (a big deal in PT school!), an anatomy study room just for PT students, and lots of computers and technical equipment. TWU also has optional sessions for students where they can practice the skills they've learned in class with a PT present from the community available to help and ask questions.

Im at Texas Tech and really like the program. We start in the summer and take gross anatomy with a couple other classes but mainly get to focus on gross which is pretty awesome. I liked taking gross before all the other classes so you have a really good understanding of muscles, nerves, blood supply before going into more advance courses.
