Yes the envelope the letter comes in is stuffed with it.
I hand delivered my acceptance letter and spot holding fee a little while ago and Mike told me I was the first student of the class of 2013, kinda cool 😀

Yea got the brooms out; clean sweep! I just feel blessed with it all. I would have have been a very happy man with just the one, really! I'm so glad you got in here. Do you care much about UT or Houston now?
 
well, i didn't get anything in the mail today. were the interviewees from the 6th and 13th supposed to receive an actual decision by today or was today acceptance only?
 
Texas Tech was definitely my first choice but that does not mean that I wouldn't consider UT if I had the opportunity to interview in the last round. They just received my PCAT scores so I'm hoping to hear back soon.

I don't believe any rejection letters will come. Who ever did not make the first round of acceptances, will be considered in each successive round, until even the regular admissions rounds. People can get acceptance letters as late as the week before school starts.

Does anyone in here know someone that had been "rolled over" into the next round and was accepted? Just a question to ease the minds of those that didn't get a letter this time around.
 
Hmm, so if you get 'rolled over', they don't give you a letter to tell you? I may give them a call tomorrow to see what's up

I received my acceptance letter today! WOOT!
 
It feels SO good to see the acceptance offer in the merlin page. I've been hoping to see that for 5 months now.

Yup. I guess I'm in the same boat as you, just waiting for UT. Actually UH is my number 1 choice but I'll wait for UT's decision, then make a final decision with UH/TTU and UT if i get in.

Good luck in making your decision too, its going to be tough.

Ya it happens all the time. I have a friend here who applied the second week, but didn't get in until the last round of acceptance letters. SO relax it is not the end of the world. There are some people who do not find out until June and July. After all aceptance letters have been sent out, they also send out alternate letters to those who have not been accepted. As people decide not to go to Tech, those who are alternates can be accepted.

Hey I have a question regarding the immunization forms...do we have to have it filled out prior to coming to the interview? Or will a copy of my medical record do?

you just bring copies of all your stuff, that sheet is for new immunizations only. For example I hadn't had my hep B shot, so when i got an interview i went and got it. The MD wrote it down on that form, but I got my tetnus shot 3 years ago and i just brought a copy of the record. If you have had the chicken pox and you haven't had the vaccine which if your at the age for pharm school most of us have not had the vaccine then you will need to have your mom or someone fill out the chicken pox deal. If you have never had chicken pox you will need to get the vaccination.

So, next round of acceptances will start showing up two weeks after last Monday? (the 23rd) Is that the consensus? Did I read that someone said the 17...

Yes, what's this about?
I'm assuming that the adcom will meet every two weeks. So the interviewees from the 20th, 27th, and the rollovers will be evaluated at that meeting. Then more letters.

17th is when adcom meets and due to their use of snail mail you wont see anything till the 23rd or 24th

Well, as dramatic as it is, I still would rather just check my email and get it over with. Like many here, I think SDN is about to give me an ulcer.

I was digging through last year's posts, apparently 3/22 and 4/4 are the two dates people got acceptance offers from the school. I remember hearing something about after the third meeting they will make enough offers to fill the class during the interview. So I guess they will send out more than 33 offers after next meeting.
btw, for those who got offers, are you going to tech or somewhere else? or it is too early to ask?

Well those of us that received an acceptance have until March 17th to respond to the offer, so you'll probably get a better response to your question right around that time.

It doesn't work at all. Even after I've accepted the acceptance offer and created an email address, it still doesn't pull up my name.
So in case any anxious candidate is trying this and getting stressed, this method doesn't work.

your behind the times we already solved that mystery it was a load of crap you just have to wait it out.... but there is a new mystery you might want to pursue dealing with UT college of pharm. status check page.... oh yeah even though it doesn't work you bet your ass im going to try it anyways lol. I need to study I need to study.....I have a micro class from mars which i am getting a high B in right now but I need it to be an A if i have to apply next year 🙁 (hope not) SDN is making me have a B I hate you SDN..... oOh im just kidding i love you, did i hurt your feelings im sorry i didn't mean it lol... I think that van with the guys in the white coats just pulled up let me go check it out later

I wouldn't say it was solved...I remember you mentioning something about "insider info" you received (was it felicity by the way?) and a couple of others had mentioned it didn't work, including me. But I also remembered you saying you would try it, when you're close to March 17th, so just wanted to give you and others a confirmation that it doesn't work.
As far as UT, I never applied there, but I'm sure someone else can help solve that mystery for you.
Tabouli, what's up with you jumping topics like crazy... I'm starting to think maybe bobanderson214 has a point 😀.

There is no mystery conspiracy theory for UT. You just find out by e-mail if you get in or not. In the UT thread, a few current students who part of the admission/interview process found out from the adcom when acceptances would be sent out and just let us know to be looking for something that day.
 
well the UT mystery is a little different, on the status check page it says your application is currently under review, at least it does for me and my friend that has already had an interview..... The is another person on the UT forum their status says congratulations you have been accepted to the school of natural sciences. The mystery is does that mean your rejected if it says that because in the FAQ section says if your not accepted to the COP that you will be considered for your second choice major or something along those lines.
