My school only "requires" a few books and the rest are "highly recommended" or "recommended." The "highly recommended" books are really like required texts, yet not. I would really like to get the highly recommended books paid for. If I submit a letter from the professor stating that the book is required, will that be enough proof for AFIT? (I would not be sending the syllabus...) Does it need to be an actual letter or can I print out an email? Also I heard from an Army student that he was able to get reimbursed for his montly T (subway) pass. Is this possible for AF? Thanks!

As for the books, all you need is to get your Dean to sign off on the vouchure. I never had a problem for this at all.
