Hello

I was wondering whether all med schools use the same textbooks and materials.
What about DO and MD schools? Are there any differences?
Thanks

:p There are a few big name text books that all schools (MD and DO) seem to prefer such as Grant's Anatomy or Netter's Anatomy. You really can't start going out and buying textbooks until you know what books are required for your school. You will most likely need either Grant's or Netter's for anatomy and I went ahead and bought this used before I even knew what school I would end up at. Generally speaking, I think that MD/DO schools use similar authors, except for OPP books of course. Another thing to keep in mind...find out from other students which books you "really need" vs which books the school "says you need". Books are expensive and there is no sense in buying them if you don't have time to use them.
