Adding Emanuel hospital in Portland, OR - Today
I went on 7 interviews total and was fried-diablo by the end. It depends on your situation. I know couples matchers that went on 20+, which is out of control.
I would HIGHLY recommend doing a few in the beginning that you will take seriously, but will most likely be lower on your list. I consider my interview skills a strong point and was still surprised at how much clearer I got by the last couple of interviews.
Good luck this year!

Anyone received interviews for U of Wisconsin and not able to get a hold of anyone to set this up? I have been trying via e-mail and phone since Friday and unable to get live person or e-mail response...any thoughts/ideas?
lactulose,
when did you submit your application?
Yale Bridgeport (9-11)
Monkeyguts, when did you send you applications in? Is your app complete and did you hear from Emanuel via ERAS or email?

Adding Albert Einstein
Honestly, I have no idea. But, it's been talked about a few times on here. In a recent post in the general residency forum, Dr. Cox mentioned that her program assigns a preliminary rank at the time of the interview. She said in this in the context that sometimes things like late Step 2 scores don't affect people much because they are "already ranked" (at least, in a relative sense).does anyone know if when you schedule your interview (early vs late in the interview season) affects where you are ranked by programs?
it seems to me like people that interview late in the season would seem fresh in the program director's mind and would more likely to be ranked high if they were liked.
or are people that interview earlier considered more interested/better candidates and placed higher on the rank list?
