I will I promise!!!
Yes. I've never done a marathon, and I'll never run a sub-5 minute mile, but I think it's fun to watch people who can.
I rode horses a lot when I was younger--English lessons on the east coast, Western trail rides with family in Kansas--but I stopped doing it for long enough to now be a little apprehensive around horses, and they know it, and... yeah.

Opening ceremony is absolutely stunning.
Agreed.
And Philliab, Phelps is a jerk (or so I've heard from friends who met him or how he's acted at our pool-he used my college's gym frequently), so I think Lochte can talk smack on him all he wants.
For Phil's Lab
Haha. I don't really have a problem with this one. I'm a swimmer have had to help guys shave their legs/backs. It's funny, they can shave their face but practically chop off their leg.
Can you live stream it online from BBC?
I didn't realize that it wasn't being shown in the US yet. 🙁 That's a really stupid delay.

Def worth the wait.
US of A is soon! (in their Chinese uniforms...)
Stupid uniforms...
My hubby and I have had this Opening Ceremony date for months! 😍

The uniforms look sooo bad too!
You mean you don't think the beret and giant polo logo don't represent the US well??
They're showing it now and replaying it in primetime here in Canadia. I like that setup...
And aww, I don't mind the uniforms. I think they look really snappy.

Now that i've seen GB...ummm ours may be better. The gold elvis collar? What is that??? 😕
You're killing me! I refuse to look! I'm going to wait patiently until the US decides we should watch it on tv. 😛
It's on NBC in 20 minutes. Why can't you watch that?
OMG WHAT?!?! SO JEALOUS!!!!
Also, for some freaking unknown reason, the stupid log-in page for NBC's live extra won't load the log-in space and I can't log-in and it will let me on my phone but that is so not cool NBC!

Enjoy everyone!!! Glad it's finally being shown back home! It is an absolutely stunning display. 😍
Off to bed so I can finish packing in the morning!

Well, it hasn't really started yet. They're just starting the initial coverage and interviews.
NBC isn't streaming the opening ceremony because they're silly. You can probably torrent the whole thing at this point, but wait a couple days and it'll show up around online...
