I think it is incredibly Victorian to have closed the thread/poll on virginity. It is useful in showing something about the premed lifestyle in an area directly affected by academics and the demands of the process. GoSpursGo, I don't understand your discomfort over sexuality.
I would like to know how the rest of SDN feels about having the poll closed.
the idea is to maintain some degree of professionalism, even if it is just a career-oriented forum.

Yes that must be it, in a forum with such long-lived threads as "would you eat a poop hot-dog to gain admittance to your first-choice school." GoSpursGo was wrong, IMO, to close the thread. There was nothing deviant about the thread. For people who are in a "professional school," I think it shows a sort of immaturity to close the thread.
