CVS has problems paying employees correctly all the time. If you don't catch their mistake, you don't get paid. They will also just not pay you.
Examples:
For union stores. Last few weeks, the company ignored the union contract about raises and did not input them, although it is shown on the pay stub, just not reflected in the check. Yes, they will report it correctly on one end and then not pay you, so if you didn't catch it, you don't get paid.
Apparently floaters have to constantly make sure that their info and pay is correct because it takes forever (weeks/months) to get the money.
For the stores in SoCal, they used to pay our vacation on our anniversary date. So if your anniversary is Sept, you get paid the vacation money you earned this year in Sept. This year they decided to pay us when we take our vacation instead of waiting for the anniversary. Guess what, if you took your vacation BEFORE your anniversary date, you don't get paid (this happened to 3 people at our store).
The only way to get paid for vacation is to take it AFTER your anniversary or wait until next year 2011. Let say the last time you got paid for vacation was last year in sept 2009, so if you wait until next year sept 2011, the company just avoided paying you vacation for 24 months.
