Because interviews tend to come on fridays. LOL i went back and checked and what do you know, my only invite so far DID come on a friday.

Yea. The only really important emails I get are from med schools, so my account automatically stars all of those emails.

I'm so out of my mind by this point that I've taken to manually refreshing Gmail, even though the page automatically updates.

And, yes, interview invites can come at really strange times. My WashU invite came Tuesday at 4am! (And I happened to be up then too. 🙂) Wonder who was sitting there in St. Louis at that time to fire out that email...
