i know this has been asked before. i remember hearing from someone that it is the gpa w/o +/- that is counted first and foremost, as a way of leveling the playing field basically. however i just spoke to an admissions counselor from NYU and they said they looked at the gpa with +/-.
does anyone know for sure if schools like boston, tufts, temple, case, columbia use the gpa w/o +/-? i tried emailing but havn't gotten answers yet. my gpa without the +/- is quite a bit higher so that's why im so interested.
