Just got back from a hilarious comedy show by Joel McHale and still heaving with laughter!
 
Spending the night in. I had some pizza and a Marble (a local microbrew) Red Ale for dinner. I came home and watched this week's Grey's and drank a Kona Brewing Company Fire Peak Pale Ale.

I prefer dark beer myself, but good light beers are nice when you're looking for a change.

If this is the same Kona that you're talking about, I love their Koko Brown ale, and I usually hate coconut.

I prefer pale ales and ambers to light beers, but I do love a good Hef

Yeah, I think they have a brown ale, which is totally going on my to do list.
 
We've got a small-ish brewery in town that makes a beer called 'Black Helicopter Coffee Stout.' It's oatmeal stout with coffee mixed in, and it's just about the best thing ever.

I've been tempted to try a stout or porter that is coffee infused. It just sounds like it would taste like pure awesome!

Absolutely you should try it! If they do it right it's great (and if the brewery is doing it at all, they're probably doing it right).

Newcastle has been my all time favorite for as long as I can remember.

But now I live in Cambodia, and there is no "dark beer" or "light beer", not even "good beer" or "bad beer." There is simply "cold beer" and "warm beer," and this makes me cry myself to sleep every night.

Sitting on a completely stopped major California freeway, about 15 cars back from whatever has happened. I can see 9 sets of first responder lights from here. I just worked 15 hours and I wanna go hoommeeeee🙁 There are no exit for 15 miles. Screwed.

I finally quit procrastinating and am analyzing my data/writing an abstract for a study I did involving pulmonary function testing. Unfortunately, the non-smoking groups seem to have better lungs than the smoking groups. @(&$*%@(#

This same phenomenon seems to happen with smoking bans and health too......


Don't ask me how I know this.

So sorry dude...messed up data is the worst.

Sorry, I mixed myself up while writing that. My study for some reason has the smoking patients with better lung test results than the non-smoking patients. Dammitttt

Hahaha, you know whats NUTS....that is how I read it in the first place 🙂 🙂

And again...same happens with smoking bans. It looks like populations are healthier when we let them smoke than when we ban it. wtf?

Ah.... research! I have worked in research for over a decade and, lemme tell you, I am skeptical of research results. I see all the stuff that happens in real world research.
