I am. Sort of. Got 4 hours of sleep last night but for the past two hours I've got a second wind. I'm just hoping all this trolling on SDN will tire me down. It's not working... 🙁

i know this was posted a few days ago, but I agree. there is way too much trolling on SDN recently. its getting annoying.

but anyways, how are my fellow late nighters on this fine evening? anyone get hit by the snow storm recently?

I've had a long day. Nothing like a good SDN forum run-through to decompress myself. And besides, the Australian Open final is on in 30 minutes. I can't fall asleep now...

same here. 20 hr. work day and i slept terribly last night. 3.5 more hours!!!!

I hate sleep 🙁 I wish I loved it, but I don't. I procrastinate on going to sleep because I dislike it so much.

You sound like me! I honestly feel like sleep is such a waste of time. I wish humans didn't need to sleep or at least did not need so much of it. My sleep is really messed up, though. Doesn't matter much now because I am working in a job where I am allowed a good bit of flexibility but when school starts July 25th it is going to be rough... :yawn:
 
How can you dislike sleep? I'm the complete opposite - waking up definitely isn't my favorite thing to do.

Yeah I am working a part-time job where, several times a week I have to get up around 3:30 AM. But the other days I get up around 9 or 10 AM. So it's impossible for me to get good sleep, I can't fall asleep early and I keep getting up early 😛 I think sleep is something that's going to be very difficult about the clinical portion of becoming a doctor.. Not looking forward to that!

Ahh, lucky. I was like you, I would only get 6-7 hours of sleep a night and it was fine. And then something snapped, and it just doesn't work for me now. I have no idea what happened. Probably because I got lazy and stopping exercising, haha.

I haven't had that stuff in like 20 years. Do they still make it? Is it still The San Francisco Treat?

Yes I eat rice-a-roni sometimes. They have lots of different flavors! Spanish rice, chicken rice, risotto, etc. Good stuff 👍

While we're making lists of things we love:

Widescreen computer monitors
Electric guitars
Snow
Bold coffee (black like midnight) and dark beer (malty, mm!)
Homemade pizza

Also, who is watching the super bowl tomorrow? Not me. I'm gonna be working. And I am not sad about it.

Well, given where I live I am kind of obligated to watch it. 🙂 In fact, I was born and have lived my whole life in this area.

I have to admit I don't normally pay attention to football. But when your city's team reaches the Super Bowl you almost gotta watch. I saw a bumper sticker once that said, "Pittsburgh: A drinking town with a football problem."

Okay, things I like:
the color green
flowers
pistachios
iPods
rum and Coke

Haha, if I were a Steelers fan, or even lived near the area, hell ya I would be watching. It just so happens though that I'm from Denver, which has attracted a lot of new people from the East and West Coasts lately. Last season (not this one) the Steelers came here to Denver to play the Broncos. Sadly the stadium was 60%+ Steelers fans. It's just depressing when you see the other team getting that kind of support at an away game. I'm not mad at the Steelers or their fans though, perhaps I'm more upset at my town for not having much pride. I wish your team the best :luck:
 
Well, the Steelers lost. 🙁

I am by no means someone who regularly watches football and I have virtually no understanding of the rules. It hit me tonight that it seems like the team that wins is the one that screwed up the least number of times. Though I guess most sports boil down to that.
 
my team didn't make it to the superbowl so I wanted the underdogs (Packers) to win, so I was happy.
 
im taking too heavy a course load this semester it seems 😡

I love snow too. People say I'm dumb for loving snow....but it is awesome. It inspires scarf wearing. It makes it feel like Christmas. It induces snuggling. Snow is amazing.

Yeah, I basically hate winter but as long as there's snow on the ground, I'm happy. Pistachio ice cream is amazing by the way, definitely on my top list of flavors as well! I can definitely understand why not everyone likes it though.
