Yoda, you should be my gchat buddy and share with me all the knowledge of a first year. You know, when you're avoiding studying and stuff.

What's up late night? I have decided I am going to finish an entire 16 week online class this week. I just finished a week of it and I am working on a second week.
 
it is so daaaaaaamn tough studying for PLANT biology. I just want to go outside and plink some cans with my air rifle.

LOL weekends before 2 tests + quiz=no social life for a while.

Especially when you're behind like me...I really need to get off this damn site.

2 tests? Psh...I have to write a narrative and a lab report by Monday morning and I haven't started either of them.
 
Food poisoning/stomach flu. Since I live right behind frat row, I can see/hear/smell everything. Woohoo! Also, I have like 2 papers and a Physics exam on Monday. F yeah Saturday nights!
 
You guys still have classes on President's day? My school's closed. Although, this now means that I have a ton of work due on Tuesday as well as an Orgo test.. woohoo 🙁
 
Either it's the 8 fantastic Hoegaarden's talking or this thread is fantastic. Or both. A's on tests/quizzes last week means I get to unwind. 👍 Hola late nighters.
 
It's 6:20 AM on the east coast, and I still haven't fallen asleep. I'm watching Cops...definitely has my adrenaline pumping. I always said that if I didn't want to go into the medical field, I would be in law enforcement.

Ditto. Law enforcement shows are my favorite ones on TV, too. Though I also sort of wish I knew how to steal a car....

I'd be a character in Leverage over a character in Law and Order anyday🙂

Really? 90% of law enforcement officials I've dealt with are horrible people. I'm sure they are just tired of dealing with people's crap, but seriously. Being a detective might be kind of cool though...

:laugh: Drank a lot of natty light in college. WashU's campus is very alcohol friendly (can you say Anheuser Busch Hall? lol. thank you St. Louis's biggest benefactor 🙂 ). I'm done with college though and doing an SMP on the east coast, in a location where Fat Tire is not sold. 🙁 le sigh
 
Howdy Late Nighters. Was at my exercise class tonight and using a new machine - my pectoral muscles hurt.:laugh:

We had a pretty bad snowstorm Monday in my part of the country. Driving home from work Monday night I had to drive on the worst roads I have ever driven on. There were several inches of snow over a layer of ice and pretty much none of the roads had been plowed. I was pretty impressed with my new car. It isn't four wheel drive or anything but it did a good job. I don't think my old car which was a sportscar would have gotten up the hills.
 
My friend has an '08 Kia and he said he sucks in the slow. Do you have snow tires on yours?

so i just visited some buddies from way back in high school and... it was really weird cuz they are literally the same guys i knew from like 6/7 years ago.. but i didnt quite mesh with them the same way i use too because i;ve changed so much.. it kinda made me sad cuz we use to have such good times.

I feel ya. One day, you're practically inseparable with great friends and then some other day in the future, you guys can practically end up virtually silent to each other or worse, end up as worse enemies.

It kinda goes back to childhood friends. I remember how innocent everyone used to be back then, but now those friends are in jail, involved in gangs, etc. 🙁

yea, i guess thats just life, regardless i know these guys were an important part of my life at some point so still gotta love em for that 👍

Haha ditto here. The VU police will not bother you unless you are unconscious in a bush somewhere, which of course happens frequently enough. Ahh, FT is nice, but I maintain my false sense of superiority when I drink Hoegaarden.

Does anyone here find that they do better work late at night? If only I didn't wake up at 8am everyday...

MB: Most of my friends haven't changed one bit either. I actually find it comforting. Always a good time when I go back, which is only a few times a year.

No, regular all season tires. My brother has a 2010 Kia Forte and he says it is not very good in the snow - it is too light and slides around. I bought my Kia in September when there is no way to assess snow-worthiness. I feel the Soul is about as good in the snow as a non four wheel drive vehicle can be. I think what helps it in the snow is that it is a heavier vehicle with a wider wheelbase.

I actually made it home Monday night. Many people didn't. My exercise class instructor couldn't get in to teach her Monday evening classes -she got stuck on an impassable main road so she spent the night at a hotel.
 
Gonna be honest, Pittsburgh sounds like the crappiest driving town on the face of the Earth. 😀
