Hey guys, sorry to intrude as I'm a newbie and all but I can't sleep due to..insomnia I guess. I just happen to come across this thread, any friendly tips to help me relax and maybe get some rest?

Anyone know a good fix for tired eyes, besides sleeping. Seems to be the general annoyance lately. Everything else gets fixed with a cup of tea, coffee, etc. doesn't seem to help in terms of eyes.

actually, good old [preservative free, of course] artificial tears do it for me. i've realized after studying at night after a long day in my contacts, dry eyes make me feel more tired. 🙄

It's encouraging to see that you don't study every single waking moment of every day. 🙂 I have actually had people tell me that with a one hour commute to school every day I will flunk out of med school because it will cut too much into my study time. I agree that it isn't ideal and I will need to manage my time wisely but ...

Efficient studying and time management is what it's all about (I'll also admit I skip lots of class, so that contributes to my free time).

In my experience test weeks and step I study time are the only times where I studied 8+ hours a day. I remember SDN having me all worried about studying all day everyday when I started, but looking at my classmates and I (and we have a H/HP/P/F scale) it seems like SDN over exaggerates.
