nothing....perussing sdn...playing perfect world(killing snowmen)...not sleeping cuz the sleeping schedule went out the window after finals....


will be interesting to go find where it landed when school starts....

off and on the phone with the bf

thinking of turning on the tv...

snacks?...no i shouldnt....

bathroom break? soon.

is there a new community episode out?

stupid 30 rock and the office and their lack of new episodes during the holidays!

maybe i should read a book....ayn rand? no that will just make me think more about society today...leading to politics...and then ill get and ulcer and/or have a stroke....


considering whether or not to read all the previous posts in this thread...i just might. maybe. its likely.


if i were more comfortable driving in the dark(and if i had my left headlight replaced....) i might be having a life....its also raining a bit so thats a hell no.

anyone else feel like when youre bored youre almost punishing yourself by not letting yourself study or do anything remotely related to academics(something productive:scared:)? "youre on vacation"...."go do something fun"

blah blah blah blah....


im going to go kill some monsters...maybe a few more snowmen now...

The pre-allo had nearlyu this same thread a few years back. It got monstrous and then they moved it to all-students to die. Suprisingly this one has gone on so long.

Everyone's talking about Avatar, but it looks kind of stupid to me. I don't think I'm willing to pay money for that. Invictus? Up in the Air?

I agree. It looks stupid to me as well, but I will probably rent it later at a rent kiosk for $1.00 anyway.

I just don't want to go the movies now. My two last tries were disappointing, because I spent $20 for the tickets and did not get anything enjoyable in return. Now I stick with renting kiosk.

i understand...that was my first movie in many months going to the theater

~$9/ticket=RIPOFF

especially for how poorly maintained and unpopular its become(biased...might just be me and all my friends who dont go anymore)

The last movie I went to watch was "Paranormal Activity," and it was not scary at all. Most people left early, because the movie was soooo boring. What a waste of money!

I know! I think non-matinee prices are like $11 at my nearest theater.

Well, I was bored that night and had nothing to do. I stumbled on several amazing reviews and decided to go. It was a scam.

Currently, I should be packing for my family vacation in four hours... We seem to be an anomaly and tend to travel to where its colder ugghh

PA was also the last movie I saw in theaters. I usually watch movies on the internet...but my friend told me it was well reviewed, and this was well before it received national release (in the new york area, it was only playing in 1 theater downtown). It was a cool experience to have a large, packed theater...people were screaming, it was cool. Now, the movie in my eyes was a little too much to be believable (ie keep me in the scared mood) towards the end, which ruined the effect for me. But it was oookay.

What kept you scared the whole movie? Only last scene was unexepected just because I felt that a huge object was flying into my face.

Well, every time they went to sleep, went into the fast forward until ~3am, and then went back into real time, I had that "oh mannn something's going to happen any second now" anxious fear feeling. It was the not knowing what is about to happen that kept me a little tense. The one time the girl was dragged off her bed I was like OK, that's too much. I can't stay in the zone anymore. It was kind of analogous to when I'm having a bad dream and then it violates the laws of physics and my mind thinks, "OK. this isn't real. i can definitely wake up from this."
 
The part when he goes inside to get her a blanket and she's there all of a sudden when he turns around really freaked me out. I think I screamed.

When I saw the trailers, it seemed stupid to me as well. But I was dragged to the 3D showing with a friend ... it was amazing! The 3D was not gimmick-y (no objects thrown at you, etc.); storyline is kind of mundane but the environment was incredibly immersive.
 
how might one change the byline type thingy under their name. Like one of you have "accepted. class of 2014" and another has "MS0". i wantz byline 2

All that time I was waiting for something to happen, but nothing happened most of the nights. That part kept me really bored.

I say go for it. Like most others I went in not expecting much as the story line didn't seem too intersting but wow that movie impressed me. Watched it on IMAX in 3D and I ended up liking it a lot.

If nothing else the effects/scenery alone are worth it IMHO.
