Mine was definitely Biochem 2. The teacher taught us absolutely nothing, it contributed NOTHING to my ability of becoming a physician, and didn't even make me more "well rounded"!

hahaha...do I have to pick just one? hmmm.....Computers for Business tied with Computer Sci 101

Art history. I took a history of film class...my last required Bull **** course. From here on out its just science for me 😎

Art Appreciation. While all of the other sections got to do projects, my section had a professor in his last semester, and we had to write papers on sculpture and architecture. He was extremely boring. 😴

I'm sure I would have liked it with a different teacher though.

O Chem hands down. I would have learned so much more and done so much better if my prof wasn't such a hardass. Too bad the son-of-a-gun has tenure. I think my class eval alone would've gotten him fired, not to mention what the other students said. 😡

Hahaha, I'm in it right now: Celtic Folklore.

dang, I wish I were taking Celtic Folklore. No kidding, I love that stuff! 🙂

anthropology. the prof was a complete nutjob who kept jumping from topic to topic before anyone could understand what the hell he was blabbering on about.

you could literally see the confusion on people's faces when each class ended. I should have dropped the class when I had the chance 🙄

I'll trade places with you! 😉

It's not that I don't like the class, per se ... it doesn't fulfill ANY requirements for me, though (not even as a GE). I am just taking it because lots of medical schools want a third quarter of English. 😛

It was called Honors forum, but it was sort of like an intro to unversity life class. All you had to do was show up to get an A. I got a C+ and was kicked out of honors but they didn't let me know it until the weekend before next semesters classes started and they notified me by simply dropping all of my honors classes.

I actually liked botany! Well, I took plant physiology, which was more like a biochem course. I guess it was still pretty useless, even though I enjoyed it.

I liked the nature walks. I like the word "cotyledon". I forgot what it is but it sounds nice on the tongue.

I consider it useless though because for the life of me I can't recall one principle from botany.

for me ... women in lit. .... that was such a boring class ....
most of my science and engineering classes are pretty useful and interesting =)

econ 104. the class is so easy it's almost remedial. unbelievably boring. even worse, they spend AGES on every topic.... much much longer than they really should need to. it's mind numbing.

philosophical puzzle - i bit off more than i could chew, got waaay more technical about logic and stuff that I didn't know. Who cares if Bill Clinton is a Cat and he is not a cat?

is it just me or is the timestamp throwing some ppl off too?...nvm it just got fixed

"Ethics of Diversity." I swear it was taught by Joseph Goebbels himself.

Try this one...

Jazz: America's Music.

WORST. CLASS. EVER.

This little man named Willie Strong would stand at the front of a hot, crowded room and proceed to suck the life out of every classic jazz tune. Ella? Suddenly boring. Louis Armstrong? Dullsville.

But the worst part of the class was having to memorize the 90 or so songs taught throughout the semester in order to identify a selected few by name, artist, jazz period, meter, etc.

To this day I still cringe when I hear "Take the A Train."

So useless...

statistics for business (BLAH) a craptastic voyage!!
biostats was way better altho still craptastical
intro to behaviour - wtf ????

everything else was pretty cool

Statistics.

Instead of getting the math based prof (like everyone else on the planet), I got "Mr. Theory." I didn't learn a single useful thing, and was just pissed the entire time.

African Dance.

Yes, we actually did have to dance. And beat drums.
Then write a term paper on it all.

I'd have to go with my full year of Art History Primitive-Rennaisance, then Rennaisance-Modern. I was a theatre major back then and this was the most boring series in the entire curriculum. It was only offered at 8 am, the lights were dimmed, and all of the most important works of art in history were reduced to slides viewed in the dark while you sucked down your coffee just trying to stay awake. 😴

I don't remember a thing, I got terrible grades that wrecked my GPA, but at least I still have the book! It must weigh 20 kg. 😳

Easy. Sociology: Gender and Power. Not just the worst class I've ever had, but the worst class ever.

Modern Japanese Texts. Still can't read friggin' Japanese, and I'm going to med school in Kansas, so yea, useless.

Oh wait, guess that makes the other 7 japanese classes before it useless too.

Oops.

Physics- both semesters fall into the I really could care less category.

I'm w/Vtucci. I have the worst physics teacher in the history of mankind. I don't know a damn thing about physics and I've been in the class for almost a whole semester now.

human development...the easiest most pointless class at my school...we skim over the psychology of life stages, but never really get to go in depth. My professor stands in front of the class with his power point and makes sarcastic remarks, and everyone just stares at him with this dumbfounded look. I guess that's why i'm choosing to study for my muscles quiz right now instead of going to that oh so wonderful 50 minutes of my life! 😉

Intro to C++ for Engineers.

when I was a chem major (before I saw the light), I opted to take a C++ class which counted as a foreign language credit for my major (yeah, wtf).....WORST CLASS EVER

As a film major my entire coursework was a waste of time...
but especially Race, Class, and Gender in American Films...I bet none of you knew that at the end of Thelma and Louise our two heroines drive into a giant metaphorical vagina.

Music history...filled a fine arts requirement...The prof was a retired army guy and took the class way too seriously...killed my GPA that semester...I'll never forget it.

music theory - never used it
drawing- i can't draw whats in front of me!! abstraction is where it's at.

the most useful courses i took in college happen to be the manditory phys ed classes, i chose weight training and yoga. changed my life around.

interpretation of dance. all i can say at this point is "wtf."

That "woodworking for occupational therapists" class has never had any value to me, but my mom likes the little bench I made her. Too bad the lamp I made caught fire when she plugged it in...

Physics sucked so hard that I have unfortunately had to rule out any future in radiology or radiation onc., simply because I don't wanna deal with physics again.
