No no one liked her. We pretty much ran her off. I vented to my nurse manager about how unsafe she was and he said “you don’t know the half of it. “ and went through like everything she had done wrong.

Im not sure using real names, pictures, and general information about nurses you consider incompetent is completely appropriate for this forum.

Eh I’d still take it down. Seems like a possible TOS violation. Also just because she was lazy and incompetent doesn’t mean she should get ridiculed by strangers on the internet.​

Oh I wish she was lazy. No she was the nurse that would receive a verbal STAT order in the middle of a patient going bad and refuse to implement it until he put it into EPIC. I’d push her out of the way and do it. But not lazy. Just thought she knew “the right way” and we were “young inexperienced nurses”. We’ve raised doubts as to whether she’s EVER worked in ICU before she traveled here.

I'm not sure this is the best place for gossip about your colleagues. If it was constructive and you were hoping to mend the situation it would be one thing but you're just badmouthing her at this point.

I just hate when idiots try to kill my patients. I really think making people beat their face and do flutter kicks would help sometimes and wish we could handle things like that. Paperwork takes forever to fire someone. If we hadn’t caught her taking narcotics she would’ve never gotten fired.

Just to recap, OP posted a photograph of a nurse who was allegedly fired for stealing narcotics. Included a first name and additional detail, for some unknown reason. Forget medical school, I am firming up my suspicion that OP does not belong in healthcare, period.

@Med Ed Jarring, but not unexpected. The impression I got from the latest train of posts was that the OP was on a bender, however one that likely didn't involve either alcohol or companions. Too bad prophylactic treatment was unsuccessful.

I’ve worked in quite a few hospitals and settings over the last decade. The vast majority of MDs and nurses get along great. There are usually a couple nurses who are lazy and antagonistic, and there is usually one, sometimes a couple doctors who are total dicks. Everyone else gets along fine and works together great.

My experience is limited, but still - for the most part this was how it felt to me too. I'm sure healthcare is just like any other profession - you're always going to get the idiots who think they're above the rest, the lazy ones who shy away from responsibilities, and the ones who bumble through without much thought - creating chaos for everyone else. But - generally - most will get along well, and hopefully work efficiently as a team.
