Hi everyone!

I just registered to take the MCAT on May 23, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.! I had to register early because I live in NYC and seats fill up fast!

I'm gonna start with SN2's schedule in a couple of months. I ordered the books (TBR, EK, EK1001, etc) a couple of days ago.

How are you guys gonna study?

Well seeing as how we have an hour left you could probably squeeze in a session real quick. Anybody in here trying to be a psychiatrist that could help out?

not having anything else to do definitely doesn't help. nothing on tv. nothing else worth reading. and yeah...the "one new tweet" thing got me excited for a second.

No. that's just basing it off the fact that the last half dozen score dates have come out a little after 3pm eastern time (noon western). Could be as late as 5 in theory.

^^ These indicate a little after noon west coast or 3pm east coast

anybody else finding reloading the MCAT THx page is significantly more nerve wreaking that reloading SDN? Much easier on to see it on here first I think, the shock won't be as bad.

This. I've been watching That's So Raven episodes on youtube. Officially regressed to my childhood.

Sitting at work, refreshing SDN every few minutes...Worst part is I have to wait another like 45 minutes AFTER the scores out to get home and check since I promised my family and gf I wouldn't until I got home...I've thought about checking, but I know I won't be able to duplicate my reaction to my scores, regardless of what they are. Stupid promises....

Well you have time to practice your reaction on the way home - or just pretend you're too "in shock" to have any reaction :naughty:

I'm so nervous that I'm debating not even checking my scores when they first come out, but that probably would only make it worse. Praying for a 30+ so I can be done with it for sure. Best of luck to everyone!

Practice Test Averages - 33

Post-MCAT feeling - terrible

Actual Score - 29

If my GPA is 3.65, do you think I have shot with that? I'm super bummed.

Exactly on my average. I guess the practice tests are a good predictor

My premonitions were right Ps killed me but I'm happy overall

Ahh oh no im sorry to hear that! My test avg and post-test feelings are exactly like yours, now I'm scared :scared: Anyways, I think you still have a shot w/a 29 but I'll leave it to the experts to comment. Good luck with everything!

No dude. You will be a doctor. As I told the guy above a 29 is a great score. You will get in somewhere....definitely DO. Rejoice. YOU WILL BE A DOCTOR!!!! Apply broadly MD (in state MD and OOS schools that accept lower MCAT like Creighton) and your choice of DO.
