Keep your phones close! Marlese said that they just got out of their admissions committee meeting! She said that she is making phone notifications today and to expect an e-mail early next week.

Has anyone that has interviewed at LLU in December heard back? I interviewed after the 3rd and was told by my interviewer that I could hear within a week, but I have yet to hear anything. Is anyone else in the same situation that could let me know if I misunderstood when they will make a decision by? Thanks and congrats to all those who have interviewed and have been accepted! I hope I will be amongst yall because I love Loma Linda!! 😍

As far as I know, Loma Linda makes decisions on offers in phases. If you have not received an offer or been notified that you are an alternate or perhaps rejected, then they have not make a decision on you yet.
I guess the next logical question is what are the phases? Are they interview dates or mail out dates?

The phases are related to when the admissions committee can meet, which is normally on Fridays.

Today is the last day the admission committee will meet before they will adjourn for the holidays. Not to worry though, they will resume in January for more decisions. Meetings are always on Fridays and they will call you as soon as they finish. They know that we are all anxious and nerves so they wont keep you waiting. There are at least 7 members in the committee so you will not be judged by one but by multiple (even though your interviewer will present your case to the members). They will only review 30-40 applications per meeting. Keep your prayers up as you may hear something very soon!

Thanks for the info! Does the meeting also decide whether a person will be on the wait list/rejected and do they inform on the decision ASAP?

For those who get accepted they get called right away. For those waitlisted/rejected not sure but most likely they will update the aadsas portal and send them an email to inform them very shortly thereafter (no phone calls).

IIRC, it should be either in the acceptance packet or somewhere online in the registration portal.
