Congratulations!!! I hope I got the call soon..........
 
Just got the call this morning at about 1030 (ct) this morning!!!!
 
Did you guys who got accepted recently get those updates in your Webstar?
 
Interviewed in October and was wait listed. Sent in my academic update with great grades and that did the trick! Just a phone call, neither aadsas or webstar are updated.
 
I wonder how many of us are left in this thread if we factor out those who already got in and those who accepted offers elsewhere?
 
did your AADSAS status change? I also got a call but my AADSAS still says "waitlisted"
 
If you are waitlisted, do you still get a call to inform you? My AADSAS status changed to waitlisted……..

No you don't get a call, but you should receive a letter in the mail saying that you are on the waitlist.


And to those who just got accepted off the waitlist my webstar just changed showing the acceptance fee
 
my interview was Sept 13th. I was waitlisted initially but got a call on Jan. 4th saying I was accepted.
 
my webstar changed too! i got the call jan 4th! still waiting for the mail packet
 
Aadsas update: waitlisted. :-(

I did and spoke to the lady in charge of admissions she was really nice and i told her that i am very interested in Nova and she made a note in my file i would definitely suggest tht you calll to reaffirm your interested in the school i think it for sure helps
 
Yes...I called a few days after December 3rd to ask when the next acceptances were being sent out and told admissions Nova was still my #1 choice (I had other offers).
 
this is exactly what I did...she asked for my name and it sounded like she made a note that I called and was still very interested.

Btw at what number did you cantac the dental school admission office? I called this number (866) 817-4061, and I was directed to the Health Professional Division, instead of the Dental school.
 
call them and ask for su Ann Zarret's direct line.
 
Has anyone who got the acceptance call after january 3rd received the acceptance package yet?

Ok, I tried to reach her like 4-5 times this afternoon, she didn't pick up her phone, it went straight to her voicemail. I'll try again tmr. Thanks for the info.
 
I can't remember which number but I'm pretty sure I called the admissions office: (954) 262-1101.
 
Anybody know how long we have to make deposits if accepted in the first week of jan? Is it still 30 days?

As posted on their website
"Candidates accepted on or after January 1 have 30 days to pay their acceptance fee. Applicants accepted on or after February 1 are required to submit their acceptance fee within 15 days. Applicants accepted after April 15 must pay their acceptance fee immediately."

Does it say when orientation will be? Still waiting on my packet....
 
I have an interview Jan. 23rd... was wondering if anyone has any idea of the possibility of getting accepted this late. Or if anyone knows how full the class currently is?

I just received a letter from NOVA saying they classified me as a "High Hold" candidate for the 2013 Entering class. My AADSAS status just says "wait listed". Anyone have an idea what the "High Hold" means? 😕

When was your aadsas changed to waitlisted? Jan 8th??
 
Yeah I called and found out on the 7th and I think it was posted on the 8th in AADSAS.
 
Has anyone who accepted a Dec. 3rd offer been contacted to complete the background check?
 
So, if you're not accepted or waitlisted by now is it a done deal for Nova? Just wanting to know when to start preparing for next cycle if worse comes to worst.

Candypaint, dont lose hope, my interview last year was jan 18 and I got a waitlisted two weeks later. I finally got accepted around March or April.
 
Has anyone who interviewed november 28th heard back from the admissions committee? I interviewed but Nova is not on my addsas application under school decisions for some reason.

dentalsurgeon, I interviewed November 28. I guess they haven't come around to us yet. Its all good though. Maybe this is a time to test our patience, ha.
 
I interviewed nov 29th and already heard back. (waitlisted) Hoping for someone to withdraw their acceptance!! This is my top choice school...

I asked Nova and they told me that we will be receiving the request for background check in about 2 months. They do a separate background check!
 
ACCEPTED AT 11:16 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so beyond excited and blessed!!!!!! Interviewed 1-18-13 (In state) Can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!!!!!!
