Yeah I got that email before and this email is the reply to me basically saying I can pay the deposit. Sucks you still didn't get a response. It's been a week right?
 
anyone receive an email response from them this week? Sent one on sunday and haven't received a response yet. /:

You have better luck receiving a response if you just send it to the general admissions email. Within that email you can address it to Dr. Mejia. That way you will at least get a response from someone even if it's not Dr. Mejia.

If you think about it, she probably gets bombarded by emails. There is absolutely no gaurantee of receiving a response from her. Honestly it's purely based on luck. Just my two cents. Good luck!

I would just wait it out. They usually respond within 2-4 days. Three was my magic number.
 
The radio silence is killing me. Anyone hear back today?
 
I'm going to make sure every patient that passes through my hands understands the struggle I went through in order to play with their teeth....IDC if it takes me hours to tell them my journey... they will appreciate my struggle. On a more serious note: I think they deliberate every week or something like that? Tomorrow is Friday and from previous posts and asking around I believe Friday is when they meet to evaluate people.... this might be bull but its my speculation
 
Look on the bright side. FB group has not grown the past few days. I know its unreliable, but at least it gives us lesser mortals some hope.

What if people who joined the group to monitor the group are getting accepted??????
Maybe I am being too synical or skeptical...
 
And what if there hasn't been any FB activity because the class is over capacity?-Seriously, don't read too much into guys; it'll just make you unnecessarily obsessed.

i just emailed the admissions offices again, i called last week... changing it up. i wish they had secret deliberations all weekend so that on monday morning some of us hopefuls could get the call of their life. can a girl get a magic lamp up in here

Finally got the call!! Thank you lord!! Honestly just keep talking to your admission officers! I have never gotten any replies from Dr. Mejia every since I was waitlisted... so don't get discouraged if she didn't reply to your call/email.

Luckily I have pretty much all my final marks at my school, so i just kept emailing my admission officer updates of my transcript... i think those really helped.
cGPA 3.6 (got bumped to 3.62)
sGPA 3.49 (got bumped to 3.54)
DAT: all 22s

I thought my 3.3~4 GPA and 20~21 DAT might have a chance...:dead:

Have anybody received the email regarding if you are waitlisted or waiting responses at other schools., and asking if you can make deposit and move to NY? I am just wondering if I said I am waiting for response at other schools will hurt my chance 🙁

Did you receive that email today? If so, at least we now know the folks over at NYU are alive.
