Since nobody really knows what they're for or what is considered good/bad, I thought I'd start a pointless thread for everybody to brag about their magical mystery number.

I've got 534.66 cumulative quality points!

Quality Points are the number that you divide by the total number of credits you've taken - and the result is your GPA (if total number of credits, then it is your cumulative GPA)

Here's how it works: If you make an A in a 3 credit class, then the A is assigned a numerical value of 4, and your quality points is 4*3 = 12. If this is the only class you EVER took, then your GPA is QP/tot # credits = 12/3 = 4.00 GPA.

Hope this helps!

well, then, the great mystery has been solved and my stupidity has been exposed for all to mock :scared:

i guess this thread will now enjoy a slow embarassing sink to the bottom of the front page 😴

unless anybody wants to buy some of my quality points??
