I really want to, but I will probably wait until Friday.

Well, since they aren't even meeting until tomorrow I would say don't call until Friday morning when their systems are likely to be updated. Plus, I've had really bad luck getting them to pick up in the afternoon.
 
lol they might be meeting right now, imo its inappropriate to call. wait till tomorrow
 
Just had a chance to come across the thread, but I was offered an interview last Monday for 2/21 or 2/28. Decided on 2/28 for logistics reasons, but any thought if they may hold out to send offers come March 1st?

from what i rememebr they said they meet on the 20th of the month to go over the candidates.
so you will probably be in the next group if they have any spots left.
 
Im guessing its a good one?! congrats! Have the rejection emails already gone out this morning?
 
has anyone received a rejection email? acceptances through snail mail/phone call and rejections through email? or am I wrong.
 
I think It might be a little harder to reach them in the morning because they're holding interviews today.
 
oh crap I didn't even think of that, still I figure someone should be at least at the desk haha
 
haha Yea just keep trying man and let us know the news. Unfortunately I'm at work and have to try on my breaks or when I get off.
 
got someone on the phone, not accepted, told me to call back afte rmarch 14th 🙁
 
Does anyone know those who were interviewed last week (Feb 14), when should expect to hear back?
 
I got the same response. " check back after March 20th". Hopefully there are spots still open then I really like this school!
 
The acceptance rate for post-dec is terrible ... Had I known in advance I probably would've saved my money

This is what I was told as well. It would be interesting to learn whether they were OOS or not. I'm gonna assume (hope) some will pass on the offer.

Lol. I actually went straight to Gold Coast right after my interview ($5 craps and blackjack!) and won enough to cover most of my trip, which wasn't terribly expensive since I just drove from CA. Took me around 5 hours of playing though!
 
I interviewed on 2/7 and they told us the admissions committee is meeting tomorrow (2/25) and I haven't gotten rejected or accepted yet. Im sure they will notify us asap

I swore she told me something like this when I called Friday afternoon, but thought I was crazy.
 
really? so does that mean they could be accepting more people tomorrow?

LOL. I hear ya. They said that during the presentation. Just hang tight though! it'll be tough to get in to UNLV bc they have to accept NV students..... pretty much half of the class will be. So all OOS are competing for ~40 seats.... it's a close call.

When I called they said the admissions committee met on the 20th already and they will be meeting again march 20th. so many conflicting answers! lol

I called an hour ago and they said they will be meeting again on 3/20. They alteady met on 2/20.
 
Confirming the "call again after March 20th" thing. I interviewed on 1/31. I was just told that I hadn't been accepted and I'm also not on the wait list. Basically, it sounds like I haven't even been looked at. Like somebody said earlier, it could be that they're loading up on NV residents and are holding off making any decisions on OOS until next month.
 
That's what it was! They are making the waiting/alternate list this week, I believe.
 
Just got off the phone with the admissions office an hour ago. No decision yet. In-state here.
 
i got a call last thursday. I'm in. i was too excited to comprehend what was said on the phone. OOS here.

How long does it usually take the packet to arrive? (WA resident)
I was accepted last week (the Feb 20th) and they said they sent the packet last friday (21st), and now it is Thursday (27th), I still havent got it.
I was wondering whether it got lost....lol

Dr. Ancajas said if you still haven't received it by Tuesday next week, call the office and speak to Yvonne!
