Well this sucks... I thought I had a good shot with them too 🙁. Did you get in anywhere else?
 
I'm waiting on a few schools, but Cali has been my home for the past couple of years. Stats show that UoP only interviews ~4% of OOS applicants, and so I guess it wasn't too much of a surprise. Are you OOS too? I also had above average stats...
 
Hey everybody, I have an interview on April 15. What should I expect? what kind of questions did they ask? How can I best prepare for the interview?
 
Dude, the squeaky wheel gets the grease! I applied early and didn't hear from anybody past December. I started sending letters in every two weeks and now I have 4 interviews. Don't be annoying though, if you dont have any NEW information on why they should choose you then dont bother.

Wait, did you just get the interview? I called them a couple of days ago, and they said they were done... Anyways, good luck. 🙂.
 
Yeah I got the interview In mid march. The interview is mid April. I'm pretty sure Stan Constantino said they are full, so it's probably just for an alternate position ... But it's better than nothing.

I'm in SF right now and my interview is tomorrow. Pretty excited 🙂

Did anyone mention when the alternate list ranking would be complete? I'm guessing around the 20th or so of April...

What I was told after I interviewed on 4/4 was that they'd like to get back to me with some kind of info within 10 business days (2 weeks). However, I was also told to not be alarmed if it takes a little bit longer.
 
Got rejection 🙁 I have no idea why 😕 I did all I can and the interviewer told me that I did good at the interview ??
 
They did not even put me on waiting list 🙁

I was interviewed in 2/21 they did not call me they send letter by mail. so, if you were interviewed from more than 2 weeks and they did call you it is probably rejection. I hope this is not the case for you. Good luck 🙂
 
Has anyone called to find out their ranking yet? I called last week and she said they would be released mid- late April. I just don't want to keep calling 😉

I think they will start contacting people at any point starting tomorrow. Today is the last day for deposits to be turned in. Some spots will open. Those spots will be filled and a waiting list will likely be formed soon after.
 
Hey guys, I just spoke with Torri and she let me know they still have one more day of interviewing and then they *hope* (keyword, hope) to have their ranking/quartile decisions made by the end of this week. Good luck! 🙂 🙂
 
Interviewed April 4th, waitlisted today. No surprise. Still grateful though.
 
Just talked to Torri Keever..the alternate list hasn't been ranked yet and will be this week
 
Thanks for the info! Just joined SDN and these threads for UoP have been very helpful! I am also wait listed and waiting to hear rankings. Once anyone calls and hears something please post. I will do the same.

interviewed last week, waitlisted today~ (realized that i forgot to ask about the quartile after i hung up)

It does say in the letter to call them in the beginning of May to check the status of your rank.

Has anyone called today? I was told they would be done by early this week but to call at the end of the week to be sure..
 
I think they haven't ranked yet. Got an email saying that they will rank all alternates in early May.
 
Dude- they won't call us. We have to call them. On Friday. (I asked them, "Thursday?" and they said "No, Friday.") I love your passion Abate... 🙂

I know that we have to call them, hence the question: did anybody call or hear (any new news) anything today? I didn't know that Friday was the day, I just heard it was the beginning of may, and today is may 1st...

A little off topic... but isn't all news inherently new?
 
Anyone else having an issue logging onto the application status website?
 
To prevent a barrage of unnecessary phone calls to UoP, I just called and they let me know they ranked everyone yesterday, however Torri has not yet received the official paperwork. I was told to call back on Monday. I wish everyone the best! Please post on Monday and good luck! 🙂

It's going to be a loooong weekend!
 
looks like they got their official paperwork... you can call in and get your ranking now
